Citing Accepted Preprints
When citing Accepted Preprints please include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The DOI is assigned to an article at acceptance and is unique to that particular article. It remains with the article upon publication and, therefore, provides a link to the latest version.
The following is an example of how to cite an Accepted Preprint:
Jones A & Smith BC 2008 Title of article. Endocrine-Related Cancer (in press). doi:10.1677/ERC-XX-XXXX
where ERC-XX-XXXX is the article number.
